October 1997: We have received the following transmission from The Institute of Formal Research regarding their first release: Volume One: File under Subconscious, which we have taken the liberty of decrypting for your review. ZOOT HORN ROLLO - 21st Century 'steel appendage' guitar and golf tuition. Key figure in the creation of Captain Beefheart's finest work - Trout Mask Replica, The Spotlight Kid etc. and orchestrator of The Magic Band's truly electrifying live performances. CHRIS SPEDDING - Played on more hit records than you can shake a stick at. Solo career and 'guitar for hire' with Laurie Anderson, Jack Bruce, John Cale, Eno, Bryan Ferry,Elton John, Paul McCartney, Tom Waits etc. etc. Produced the first Sex Plstols studio sessions. MICK TAYLOR - Succeeded Eric Clapton and Peter Green in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Debut with the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park followed over the next five years by a unique contribution to the band's 'purple patch' of Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street. Re-emerged on two albums with Bob Dylan.
